Industrial Venue Meets Intimate Warmth

This October wedding was held at Dock 5 at Union Market—an interesting, industrial venue in Northeast Washington, DC. To soften the space and create intimacy, we utilized beautiful draping to create a welcoming entryway into the reception, and a soft background behind the custom-built wood chuppah, which was finished with wild, growing florals in an asymmetrical design. A custom monogram of moss, ivy and greenery added a welcoming touch, and copper wire around the boutonnières served as a complementary shade and shining nod to the venue. The lavish bridal bouquet and low centerpieces were stunning and fragrant, with silver dollar eucalyptus and rosemary accents. Farm tables and rustic style added a comfortable and cozy element, while soft industrial style lighting cast a warm glow over the festivities.

COLORS: green, white, pale peach, copper accents

FLORALS: garden rose, scabiosa pods, dahlias, hypericum berry, astible, ranunculus, silver dollar eucalyptus, rosemary, seeded eucalyptus
