Late Summer Hunt Country Elegance

The grounds of the Goodstone Inn in historic Middleburg, Virginia, served as the setting for this stunning August wedding. A romantic ivy-covered stone wall was the backdrop for the ceremony; guests were greeted at the entrance by two arrangements of peegee hydrangea and ivy in tall glass vases. From there, guests moved onto the terrace where they were greeted by another massive arrangement in an industrial bronze vase as they sipped cocktails shaded by market umbrellas near the pool. The escort card installation was a beautiful visual with greenery and orchids on top and copper lanterns below; the cards were copper luggage tags inscribed with guests’ names and tables. The beautifully draped tent was bedecked with a hanging garden installation above rectangular tables adorned with fresh moss runners intermixed with pillar candles. A custom-built copper bar with greenery, shelving and a monogrammed copper mirror served as a stunning touch, reflecting a beautiful day.
