OUR VISION SETS US APART

Rick Davis - Event Designer, Owner & President

Rick has been with Amaryllis from the very beginning, and became the owner in 2002. With his award-winning style and exceptional skill, Rick guided our transformation into one of the country's foremost special event companies. Rick is known for sophisticated elegance, unique use of products and innovative concepts. He works closely with each client to ensure that we exceed expectations, and always adds extra touches to make the occasion exceptional. In his spare time, Rick is an avid gardener who loves farm life; he is a longtime exotic chicken and waterfowl enthusiast.
 

Christopher Vazquez - Event Designer & Vice President

Christopher brings vast experience from both the theater arts and the restaurant industry—uniquely specialized fields that contribute greatly to the event design world that he not only inhabits, but revolutionizes on a daily basis. Christopher specializes in corporate and social events from galas to weddings, parties and beyond, and has a gifted eye for style and design. While providing personal attention and inventive solutions, he encourages clients to dream, and seeks to create something fun and original together.
 

A Partnership Founded in Business & Forged in Love

Rick and Christopher are not only business partners, they were happily married in October 2014. When they're not creating fabulous events, they escape to their Southern Maryland farm where they reside with a menagerie of dogs, animals and birds. They raise ever-expanding flocks of exotic fowl, conserve some of the rarest bloodlines of heritage farm animals and proudly tend to their abundant vegetable and flower gardens. Many of the specialty flowers used in our events are lovingly grown and harvested by Rick and Christopher themselves.
